Náplň práce
- Support the quality control of functional or cross-functional systems and applications in line
with Operations and Quality Management strategies
- Conduct Software Quality reviews of software functional requirements, logical designs and
detailed physical designs
- Manual and automated testing of IT applications, including portals, data warehouses, web,
and/or client/server applications
- Performance monitoring and measurement of database applications, web-based applications, applets and servlets
- Conduct functional, high-level systems integration, performance and change regression testing
of in-house developed software and customizations of third-party developed software
- Test internally developed software and commercial off the shelf (COTS) products to ensure
quality of software delivery
- Ensure that software is tested according to SOPs, lifecycle methodologies and to regulatory requirements
- Support the creation of test plans and test data
- Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and technical innovations related to test processes
- Perform project tasks in accordance with project timelines and required quality standards
- Evaluate and suggest improvements in the software development process
Požadavky
- Previous software QA / Testing experience, preferably including web or client server applications
- Current knowledge of web related technology such as HTML, XML, etc.
- Experience of configuration of software components and packages including defect/issue reporting and tracking
- Experience with back-end, front-end and connectivity components of data warehouse
applications is preferred
- Experience with a modern software test automation product is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to overcome challenging problems and work on your own initiative
- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with
attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or with minimal managerial oversight
- Fluency in English
